I have been designing and illustrating many Google Gadgets for the Google Desktop.
Some of them are in development, many of them were dropped for strategic reasons.
The Energy Saver gadget, left, launched on Earth Day 2008 (April 22). It's a simple, nifty little tool that makes it easy for users to access their PC's power saving options. The concept was to empower users by giving them a meaningful measure of the energy saved, both individually and collectively with the other users of the gadget. |
